Wet Snow for Sale...

Well I have 6" of some wet snow for sale if there is any takers. We woke up yesterday to a snow storm. Not what we wanted to see since all the snow was gone, we now have to start all over. Which really stinks!
I really hope this is the end of the snow as I'm getting sick of seeing it. lol
Oh well, what do you do?
Our house is in a mess right now because we decided to wait to replace the windows in the dining room & instead build a main floor utility room off of the kitchen were it was previously a bedroom we didn't use as one. So it will make it much nicer to have it on the main floor instead of the basement. We are hoping to have it finished up by the end of next weekend so we shall see how it goes.

Well I'm off, got some things to do.

New Month-Spring time Pulling me away...

Well it's a new month already. This year seems to be just flying on by with no chance of slowing down.
The weather is finally starting to look up here & before long, the snow will be gone, the grass will be green & the trees will have leaves. I do love this time of the year although my computer time slows down. As the weather gets nicer, I'm finding being on the computer doesn't suit me as much. I don't know, maybe other people go through this too? I find it hard to concentrate cause I'd rather be outside. lol Ahh well. I have taken the last few days away from the computer to think things over & take some time for myself. I think I have come up with a schedule for myself that will keep me going. I have decided to take the weekends off Saturday-Monday & probably a Friday off here & there, just to get away. The weekends we are usually busy doing things around the house anyhow so it'll work out perfect. I also am not going to be on as many hours as I usually am. I'm thinking the days I am on the computer, I will walk away from it at 4:30pm, the time hubby gets off of work. Then I can spend the evenings doing what I want & relaxing. I have been working on a Christmas cross-stitching blanket for almost 3 years now & I really would like to have it done before Christmas this year! lol I want to take designing digi stuff slowly & not burn myself out. Want to keep ideas fresh & avoid getting a creative block which I have seem to hit the last few weeks. So I hope by sticking to this it will help me out alot. I mean don't get me wrong, I love designing, but I think at times I put too much pressure on myself trying to do it perfect, so I just have to learn to let go of that & know it's okay.

The weather for the weekend is looking like it's suppose to be nice, so we are going to replace the windows in our dining room. They are so badly rotten I'm actually surprised they haven't fallen out yet. lol Right now it is 2 double hung windows next to each other. We are going to replace them with a single side sliding window. I think is the plan anyhow, hubby keeps changing his mind, so I guess I will know for sure when we go to purchase the window. lol

We have a meeting tonight with our local fire chief. In November we purchased the building behind us so we could expand our backyard. We offered it to the fire department before we tear it down so they could train in it. So we have to walk through it with him & set up a time of when we want it done so they can schedule it in & we can figure out our schedule for tearing it down & then filling the hole in with dirt. It'll be nice to have it done & torn down. As right now our current backyard is full of gravel, which means right now it's a muddy mess. lol We also are going to put up a 6-foot solid fence around some of the backyard & put down sod so we can let Clara out the back door & she has a yard to run around in without out a leash & we will feel safer letting her out in the yard as last year some jerks were talking about stealing her & selling her for big money & word got back to us about it. So right now we don't feel safe letting her out unless one of us is outside with her. So with the fence we have picked out, when she is outside, nobody will even know she's out there as there will be a gate with a lock so someone will not be able to just walk into the yard.

Well enough rambling from me today. Got some things around the house I want to get finished up that I have been putting off for months.

I'm in the process of finishing a Baby themed kit, hopefully I will have it done so it can be added to the store on Sunday, but we'll see how that goes. Still have alot to do to finish it up & my list of stuff keeps growing by the minute. lol
Well anyways, better get busy or it will never get done at this pace.

I have found a solution to keep my hair....

So for the past month or so I have been poking around in zen cart, bought the book that was recommended & was getting nowhere fast. The main reason I bought the book was so I could customize it to what I wanted it to look like, however, I don't really feel it is touched really in the book. I mean sure there is a little about it, but nothing that really helped me understand it as I am no expert in that kind of coding. So this morning I was doing some searches seeing if I could find anything on the topic that would help me understand how to do it. Came across this site, & decided to buy a few of the books. Let me tell you, they are worth every single penny!! I am finally understanding what I am doing & it is working for me. See when it comes to webpages, I am self-taught so like I said when it comes to php or any of that stuff, I have no clue what language it is even in. lol But I tell you, if you are trying to do what I am, invest in those books, you will love them! :)
What else is going on? Hmm, well, I can't tell you yet, but will in a few days or so. I'm really excited about it.

So I have decided to move my personal blog on over to here. To keep business & personal separate.
From now all I will be posting on the other one are freebies & site news. Here... well I'll post everything else. lol Kody is leaving some time this morning, going off to a birthday party till tomorrow sometime. This weekend the only plans hubby & I have are to finish my office so I can get moved back into it & get settled. I really need to get back to designing kits. Plus not sure I'm really happy with my color choices over on the site, so I may have to take a second look at that. Plus I'm re-looking at the forum thing. I maynot have that, maybe just a gallery instead. We'll see. :)
Well, I'm off for now. Need to start doing some more painting in my office.
